Saquon Barkley is coming off a historic season after capturing his first Super Bowl ring with the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, the former Penn State star is landing the cover honors for EA’s “Madden 26” football game.

This time, Barkley’s honor for the cover comes with a twist: He is in the now-iconic backwards hurdle move that he employed during the 2024 season. Barkley even re-enacted the move with some help from EA Sports for the cover.

Check it out:

Barkley first used the move during Philadelphia’s regular-season game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The star running back finished that game with 199 yards from scrimmage and 2 touchdowns in just one of his more masterful performances from the season.

Barkley ended the 2024 campaign with an NFL-leading 2,005 yards, ing the league’s historic 2,000-yard club and leading the franchise to the Super Bowl. While Philadelphia sat Barkley in the final regular-season game with a chance to set the rushing record, he delivered on the ultimate goal of a title.

Now, his storybook season is getting immortalized on the cover of Madden.
